Locked Macbook - Local User Account
End user is unable to log in on Macbook. Computer is saying that "Account is Locked" on username/password prompt.
1st Step:
1) Attempt to "unlock" user account via Mosyle MDM. Locate assigned computer asset in Mosyle MDM. Under More tab, there is an option for Manage Users. Under Manage users, locate the user's name and attempt to "unlock" account
2nd Step:
2) If the 1st step did not work, we will need to utilize the resetpassword method via Recovery Utility
Required to access recovery console utility. Input admin password for the admin account.
Note: If computer is encrypted via FileVault, you will be required to input the recovery key. This will be found in Mosyle MDM under the Computer under Security Info tab.
