Macbook Issue - Macbook Users Need Temporary Admin rights for their Macbook Mosyle MDM Laptop
If Macbook Users with Mosyle MDM need temporary administrative rights on their Macbook laptop to perform functions such as:
1) Installation of Software
2) Restart Printer Queue - Unable to print as queue is paused

To enable temporary admin rights on your new Macbook,
1) Go to Finder ----> Applications
2) Launch Manager. This will open the Mosyle Manager application which is the MDM self service component for end users
3) Click on the drop down and select "Self Service" on the top left of the Mosyle Manager window next to settings
4) Select "Admin On-Demand" from the list. Click Continue and then type in the reason for the admin request. You can input any reason for admin rights including: 1) restarting printer queue 2) Adjust computer settings 3) Install software etc, Click Continue again and then press "Got it"
A notification will appear on the top right saying that your admin rights have been elevated. You will have 5 minutes of admin rights to complete the task requiring admin rights
Note: Admin rights will be enabled for 5 minutes. Though, you can continuously request temporary admin rights in Mosyle Manager until the installation is complete
